5One great knife  Jan 23, 2009 By Wesley Lee Erwin
This is a really nice knife. It feels great in the hand. Maybe a bit small if you have big hands. It is made of good quality steel and the full tang construction makes it super strong. In fact, I prefer full tang knives, as I have had some cheap knives in the past and after using them for a while, I have been left holding the handle with the blade lying on the ground. Another great thing about full tang knives is that if the handle scales ever break or come off, they can be replaced and the knife is as good as new. This is definately a knife that will last a lifetime. You won't go wrong with this one.

3Okay knife  Mar 31, 2012 By Isaac Acuna "The Thinkest"
I added this into an order of other items to use up some amazon store credit I had, it is an okay knife. The steel is generic and the build quality over all is fair. It is attempting to be an Shrade Sharpfinger and it does fall short (At least of the original pre-chinese built sharpfingers.) The sheath is fairly standard nylon with average stitching and overall good design, it also includes a plastic insert which is useful if your sheath isn't leather and you have a fine tip.

The main issue is it does feel very small in the hand (Average to large hands) even though it is the same size as a sharpfinger and the finger grooves don't match up with how you would hold this knife normally (Choked up with thumb against the back groove.)

The Edge: Out of the packaging it is mild with a consistent grind. After sharpening I have it near razor sharp; I haven't had an opportunity to test its edge holding properties and will update review after it receives some field time.

overall: It is an okay knife

It is reasonably thick, affordable and can be sharpened easily. Obviously this isn't a do everything knife it is a do one thing knife and I believe it will work well in that capacity as long as you keep a sharpener handy. While the grip left a bit to be desired it is in no way a hit to the functionality of the device.
