So far, so great. Feb 07, 2010
By Mike Oxbig I've been torturing myself for years wearing the cheap walmart/payless/kmart steel toe bricks on my feet. Only to have those things last about 3-6 months and cripple my poor feet. I finally said enough is enough and decided to invest in some real boots. I tried these on at my local sears and couldn't believe how comfortable and light-weight they were. They were on sale and I wanted to get them on the spot, but I checked here at Amazon first and found them $20 cheaper. They arrived quickly and the first evening I wore them out with the family to a restaurant and I kept commenting on how they were more comfortable then my nikes. I've had them about a month now and they are light years better than anything I've had. I work outside as a steel fabricator/structural welder climbing up and down marine craft and these boots have been awesome. If they continue to pass the test of time, I would have no problem buying these over and over.
Best all-around steel-toe work boot out there Oct 08, 2011
By Muad'Dib These are the most comfortable, lightest weight steel-toe work boot I've found, and very comfortable. I'm a general contractor and do a lot of hands-on work myself. I've bought more expensive boots that were so heavy that your feet would be dragging at the end of the day. I've bought wally-world boots that were cheap, heavy and uncomfortable. These are the best!
comfortable boot May 26, 2011
By BRENT J MCBRIDE This is my second pair of these boots. Old pair lasted as long or longer than previous work boots for me. These boots have very roomy toe (main reason for purchase). I will definately buy these boots again.
Great safety shoe with lots of toe room May 15, 2011
By D. Clemons This is my 4th pair of these boots. Lots of toe room, very light weight, and last about 1.5 years of extensive wear. Very comfortable.
Amazing Nov 14, 2010

These boots arrived yesterday so I've only had the chance to wear them around for a few minutes. My first impression? Five stars! I actually believe these are perhaps the most comfortable shoes - not just work boots, but shoes - I have ever put on. I expect virtually no break-in period. I envision these lasting a LONG time and standing up to lots of abuse over the coming years. I'm between a size 13 and 14 - some brands like Nike and Merrel are 14s for me, others like Timerland and Sidi and 13s. Fortunately, I've owned Timberlands before I was comfortable buying online knowing size would not likely be an issue. Why only four stars? They're not waterproof. OK - I knew that going in: Other Timberland boots are labeled as such, and these are not. I know that. But of all the Timberland boots I looked at, these are the ones I liked best - and they're not waterproof. Bummer. Now, I assume there to be at least "some" water shedding capability but I'll wait and see just how little or how much there is before I take on the sprays and treatments. But, frankly, I don't see myself clomping around through streams all that much. Most of the use these guys get will be recreational hiking or work chores around the house or just something to wear in this South Texas winter when sneakers, sandals or bare feet won't do.
