Must-have winter tool Nov 23, 2008
By Karen L. Roth

I bought this tool after seeing a neighbor use one to almost effortlessly remove ice from his driveway that I couldn't. It scrapes up the snow and ice that stick to the pavement and are virtually impossible to remove with a shovel. (like when someone who shall remain nameless drives over the snow before you've had a chance to shovel!) The wide blade and D-grip handle make it easier to use than a standard scraper. Once you have one of these, you won't know how you got along without it.

Suncast 8" Snow & Ice Scraper with D-Grip Handle Mar 24, 2008
By Normandie K. Mindheim Exactly what I was looking for after seeing it in use by someone I drove past on the street. Very sturdy. Excellent for breaking up ice on walks and drives that was too thick to be melted by salt. Delivery was prompt. No complaints. Would recommend to a friend.

Heavy Duty, Good Value Apr 12, 2008
By Michael A. Taylor I live in MI and we get a lot of snow, this works great on thick ice left on driveways and sidewalks. The blade is very durable, so you don't have to worry about it when scrapping along the concrete.

Hands down, the best tool for ice on a firm surface Feb 05, 2011

I had been looking for this for years because my dad had one like it and it was great. FINALLY I found it. Absolutely without question, this is the best product for keeping your driveway clear of ice and snow during the winter. Of course this winter has been a doozy here in NY and we've had so many ask us who does our driveway because it's bare blacktop very soon after storms. We also just had a wintery mess then had a deep freeze that night and this handled it no problem.
The ONLY thing I would wish for would be a longer handle because it's best to get a good low angle to get the ice up and it causes me to bend over a bit more than I'd like but it's OK because nothing else could ever get the ice up like this. It's quite heavy so getting a good swing across the ground handles the ice very quickly and it has plenty of momentum on it's own. There's no question that anyone who has even a little snow should get this scraper.
