This gun is a "kit". When I ordered, I wasn't quite sure what that meant. I was thinking it included staples and perhaps a case, and I was right. This staple gun includes 1,000 staples and a handy storage case. I used this to tack some wires and hang some posters. Good quality gun, very happy with this purchase.

I was expecting the staple gun to be larger, and was concerned that it would not be able to handle the light upholstery project I had planned. But it was up to the task, the smaller size fit my hand much better than the conventionally sized, and it was easier to use while I pulled and held down fabric. The zippered carrying case with room for both the staple gun, and included extra box of staples was a great bonus. Overall, and excellent product at a very good price!

This is a very nice unit... comes with 1000 stapes and a carrying case that I was not even expecting. Was delivered quickly in very good condition, sealed and new. It should last for many many years to come. I am quite happy with the quality and cannot wait to use it more often for tasks around the house.

It is lightweight and small enough for me to use easily (I am a somewhat small senior female), but it really gets the job done. I just used it to reupholster some slip-seat dining chairs. It sent staples through the somewhat heavy material and into the wood beautifully, just as it should (and just as my last, larger staple gun did not do). And it came with 1000 staples, so that I could use it immediately. Plus a zipper case, very reasonable price, and quick shipping. A definite five-star purchase from Amazon. If you are in the market, don't hesitate to order this item!
