1DO NOT BUY!  Apr 05, 2012 By Schuyler Cole
Just looked at this thing in Walmart. How in the world are people giving this a good review? I have never seen an adjustable with this much play in it before. Horrid horrid horrid wrench.

This may be fine for somethings but it is not good for what you would like it to do the most.
There is to much play in the wrench and it will not undo a bolt correctly.
It moves every time you go take it off the bolt.
I have used many wrenches over the years and even though this is a stanley (I should know better) the reviews made it see like a good deal.
Don't buy it you will regret it the first time you try to tighten or loosen a bolt.
I did.

5useful and nice  Mar 29, 2012 By mkh
I'm no professional mechanic, all I can say is that the material seems to be good quality and the tool fit into tight places with its thin jaw design. It is serving me well.

2Stanley 90-948 8-Inch Adjustable Wrench  Mar 09, 2012 By AJP
I ordered this because some of Stanley's tools aren't bad for professional work. This one, however, isn't good enough.

The wrench itself, overall, isn't bad. The handle is comfortable. But, the moving jaw just has too much slop and play for professional work. As a commercial/industrial electrician, this will round too many bolts and nuts. And, the more play that it has, the more grit and fine metal shavings collect in the slide and foul it from moving easily. I gave it two stars because it would probably do fine for a homeowner.

I had to return it. So, I'm buying an Irwin, which I should have bought to begin with.

another great product that will last for a long time. Look forward to years of use. Added to Stanley collection .
