These Stanley needle-nose pliers are better than most because they're designed so they won't pinch your index finger.

Usually I like to be able handle up a tool before purchasing to be sure I like it. But I'm very pleased that I ordered these Stanley 89-870 8"pliers. They have a sure grip without being cumbersome or overly heavy, and I think the price was right. I recommend them without reservation.

Haven't used these bad boys yet, but the grip is nice and the overall quality is at least a 4/5. Very sturdy and seems reliable.

I tried to save a few dollars in purchasing a number of Stanley products....what a foolish mistake.....I should have gone with the better products (Klein, for example)....this is nothing beyond mediocre.
