I didn't find a reference anywhere that it would work on the battery powered saw, but I figured since it said 8" that I'd try it. I don't know why they don't have a replacement chain recommendation. This one works.
I use Oregon chain on my other bigger saw and I'm happy with the manufacturer.

I bought the Oregon chain to replace the factory chain on my Poulan (PP388PT)pole saw. The Oregon replaced the original chain perfectly. It has double the cutting teeth and appears to be of higher quality than the factory chain. I made several cuts though 3-5" oak limbs. It cuts more smoothly and faster than the factory chain, which I attributed to the extra cutters. This was a good up grade for my saw.

Hi this is obviously a well made chain that takes sharpening well. It works with the highly popular black and decker ccs818. To get the most out of that saw I've purchased the silver series battery from lowes and the dual 1 hour quick charger from them as well. Along with a sharpened blade before use, this saw and chain really work.

I was disappointed with this simple replacement chain. Not by it's lack of cutting, but by the fact that it did not fit properly onto the chain blade.
Ends up some of the teeth that fit into the groove on the blade were dented and a little too thick to fit.
After making sure that my chain blade was not bent - i realized what the problem was and took out my Dremel to grid the teeth even and smooth.
It's a small thing - but in my opinion a simple thing like a chain should fit on easily.
