Doesn't fit Craftsman as claimed Oct 01, 2009

"Clueless in Wisconsin"
Probably nothing wrong with this chain but I was unable to use it. It's possible craftsman has a different saw with an 18" blade other than the one I own but I couldn't tell from the information on the website that there might be a difference. This chain was much too large for my Craftsman 18" saw. I thought 18 inches was 18 inches. Check the model number to find out which chain fits your saw before ordering.

Simply Awesome May 29, 2011
By DanH I bought several of these chains. They are the best that I have tried so far. I have a 3.7" Craftsman so there is enough power to work it. It cut through a 20" Red Maple (actually 8 cuts) in no time. Huge chips that I have not seen in any of my multitude of chains previously. This is NOT a chain for folks that have no idea of how to use a chainsaw. You will hurt yourself if you are not careful because of its speed of cut and aggressiveness. But if you want a serious chain, and have a real job to do, this is the chain for you. Just make sure that you are purchasing the correct chain for your bar (gauge and pitch). It is not the chain's fault if you don't.
