chain for my old saw Nov 28, 2011
By Jimmy My Echo saw was bought in 1988. I had to contact Oregon to find current chain designation for my saw. Amazon was one of the few places that carried this old chain. And at a very reasonable price.Shipping was free and timely. Very pleased.
no issues Nov 05, 2011
By Matthew E. Mccay I use this chain on my Echo 3900 and have no issues. My sons been cutting a lot of locust lately and the chains still hold up well, getting plenty of bar lube. On my Husqvarna 359, some hardwoods were killing these chains due to high rpm and less lube flow than my Echo. Fortunately, they re-sharpen easily. I have put a Carbide toothed chain on my Husky, but the Echo gets by fine with this chain.

Not so great Sep 07, 2010
By AgentPhlegm I tried this on my Poulan Wood Shark (gasoline saw) because it was cheaper than a Poulan brand chain. I would only recommend it for temporary use. Cutting green oak, it dulled far more quickly than a Poulan chain. Worst of all, the drive links aren't shaped quite the same as on a Poulan chain and they started wearing little cuts into the drive cog. (About 1 mm of a cut after 4 hours use) It DID fit well and didn't stretch more than expected during the first uses, but because of the cog damage I would only use this again out of dire necessity until I could get a more suitable chain.
