These blads CUT Sep 14, 2004
By Bill N. I used to have a 3/4" and a 1" stroke recip saw. A few years ago I bought a 1 1/4" Super Sawzall. The saw loves to cut, but ordinary blades bent whenever I'd hit something while cutting. This lead to many bent blades and much frustration. I was starting to not love my saw. When I started using the more expensive Ax blades, I loved my saw again. Now whenever I have real cutting to do, I reach for these blades. You can cut all day and still have some blade left. For demo work and a 1 1/4" stroke saw, don't bother with anything else. Happy cutting.

Stump remover blades! (can't cut rocks though) Feb 04, 2009
By G. Powell I bought a package of these blades to use to help cut the roots on a stump of a tree in my yard. The good news is that the stump is out. The bad it took 2 blades to do the trick. Ice hardened or not, the blades don't cut rocks. The teeth are still there but they are not sharp. These blades have a 5 year warranty, but I don't see how they'd last that long... Back to my story, when I hit a small rock, sparks flew, dirt spewed, roots still cut though.
Anyway I have a 12amp sawzall with a variable speed orbital cut (1 + 1/8th) and the sawzall was up to the job. Given these blades, there is not much that will stop you.
The nice thing is that these blades did not bend, or bind. If you are pruning, I'd go for the pruning blades though rather than these. And they are a little big on the tip & long for a plunge cut into a 2x4 without drilling a hole to start.

Best sawzall blades on the market Dec 20, 2010

You WILL NOT break these blades unless you are trying to break them on purpose. I have done demolition, tree cutting, stump cutting with these blades and I have not broke 1 to date. You will dull the blade before they break and while some may say thats not a good thing I have used DeWalt blades and other Milwaukee blades doing rough carpentry and they break before they dull. SO you never know if you got all you could out of the teeth of those other blades. These you know you got your moneys worth and you used them all you could.
These are the only sawzall blades I will ever buy and use for my crews or on any of my jobs.

Fantastic Demo Blades! Apr 28, 2009
By MilesToGo I've been using these blades for around 5 years. These are fantastic, durable demo blades. They will chew through wood or steel. Unlike a previous reviwer, I find these blades are very easy to do plunge cuts with. They won't bend if you run the tip into something (unlike most similar blades). While doing residential demo work, I have litterally plunge cut into a wall and cut through the entire wall..removing it in a single piece. The only thing they won't cut is masonry/stone.
I can't say enough good about these blades. They have saved me lots of time and many headaches.
