These are great for fire spinners Aug 24, 2007
By Gadget Gal I know these sleeves are meant for mechanics, but they are great for fire spinning as well. I have a pair and I have also bought them for several of my friends that do fire spinning and hooping. They stay up on your arms really well.

Second Recommendation for fire spinning Jun 13, 2011
By Kayla M. Dixon
"Anastasia Arts"
I am a fire spinner (hoop) and have had a lot of difficulty not burning my forearms or disiengrating all of my arm hairs. I found these kevlar sleeves and after reading one reveiw from a fellow spinner decided to try them. They work wonderfully; there is no sliding when I am dancing, they fit tightly but not to the point where it was uncomfortable, and most important of all, they proteced the spots I tend to burn the most. The only thing I didn't like was the placement of the tag, but there really is nowhere else for it to go, so I will possible just tape it down. Recommend for those who spin fire and tend to burn their arms a lot.

Great for Fire Spinning Nov 01, 2011
By Becca Great product. Perfect for Fire Spinning.
Ordered these last min for a upcoming performance and really needed it for the fire swords. Bought two pair and love them.
I recommend these to other fire spinners, and will be buying more for others that i know in the future.

best protection ever from heat Aug 28, 2011
By novajerry I got this product for working around hot metal parts, some around 270 degress, for protecting my self from getting any further burns from accidently bumping into the metal.they have been an excellent purchase.the only problem with them is that you need to be aware when they occasionly slip below your elbow. If it wasn't for that minor flaw they would be amazing.

Itchy Apr 11, 2009
By Larry Callahan
"Speedy"
They work well but if you are tall like me one size does not fit all. They are a little short at the elbow.
