Best impact wrench ever! Feb 14, 2009

With respect to the reviewer who said it would not break lugnuts tightened to 95 ft/lbs on his BMW, I found just the opposite to be true. I wonder if perhaps he (or she) had a bad tool.
I also use mine for changing race tires on my BMW. I have used numerous impact wrenches that my friends own (some of which could not break lugnuts at all even on a full charge) and I have used another Makita without the LiON battery, which I used to own. I have found that not only can this one easily break lug nuts tightened to 95 ft/lbs, but that it can do many many wheels one charge. I'd pass mine around the paddock and it could be used all weekend by several people without a recharge. It would even sit in the trailer for a couple of weeks without a recharge and still break lugnuts loose.
While this one certainly isn't cheap, I'd have to say that because of it's very small size and huge power it far surpasses all the other impact drivers I have used and is well worth the money.

Great little impact wrench Jul 29, 2009
By SBD Flyer I was apprehensive at first about this tool. [...]. Breaks lugnuts easily on my Subaru WRX. Nice compact size, great LED lite on the front, and the ring on the front glows-in-the-dark. Would recommend this tool to anyone. I work as a maintenace tech for Caterpillar. While this impact does not have the torque of the big guns, it works on everything automotive at home and it's size and convience is great.

Compact Impact Wrench Apr 09, 2010
By HVAC Installer Takes lug nuts off of my 2000 Tundra, my 2008 Ford 3/4 ton van and my girlfriend's 2008 Suzuki. Used it to change sway bar endlinks on the Tundra. Great little tool, packs a heck of a punch. Batteries are fantastic for my occasional usage.

Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! Jun 12, 2009
By J. Roscinski This thing is simply awesome! The size and weight is misleading; it packs a mean punch. I bought it to swap wheels and tires when I rallycross. When it was delivered I decided to put it through its paces. To my surprise, it was able to break loose bolts that held struts to knuckles on my parts car, as well as the big nut on the end of an axlestub. I haven't yet had a chance to use it for an extended period of time, but from my experience, the battery holds a charge for a while. Did I mention you can fit it pretty much anywhere a standard air-powered impact gun would fit? And it has a little LED light on the end! Does your air gun have one of those? This came with a nice (albeit large) hard plastic case, 2 batteries, and a fancy charger.
