5Great Blade  Oct 14, 2009 By D. Byers
This blade works great. It cuts straight and clean with no burs left on your work. Cuts way faster than abrasive blades, and without the dust or sparks. But one of the best features is that the blade wont heat up the metal, you can touch the cut rite after cutting, it stays cold. It also doesn't get smaller with every use like abrasive blades do. Just remember, only cut MILD STEEL, or other soft metals, NOT stainless steel, spring steel, or hardened steel. If you do, it will ruin it very fast. But as long as you are careful with it you will love it.

5Better than regular chop saw blades  Feb 17, 2006 By J. Jeppesen
I use this blake in my Makita chop saw. In my farm shop it gets used a lot, the last one lasted 3 years. This carbide blade is a lot cheaper in the long run, it saws faster and it doesn't put dust in the air like the old abrasive disks. The only caution is make sure the work is secured in the saw vice, these blades are "grabby".

5Great blade  Jun 08, 2008 By Bruce Dyak "Garden Metalwork"
Great Blade for cutting ferrous metal and especially aluminum using a chop saw, no burs, allot faster then using the traditional band saw.
Highly recommended as a time saver.

5Bigfoot  Nov 12, 2010 By bigfoot
This Metal Cutting 12 IN. BLADE IS A REAL WINNER! A local Steel Supply uses the Makita LC 1230 Saw to cut all kinds of Mat's. This Blade is the choice for all but the thin mat's.
The Speed and low cost of Amazon was the best I could find! Very Happy--should've gotten it some time ago !
