Good value package. Jul 17, 2011
By Production Veteran These are octagonal cut foam earplugs. You have to pull them apart, which is convenient in that it's easy to pair them together.
When they've been in my pocket and get lint or dust, they wash easily for re-use until time to discard.
A good multi-pack without a lot of individual wrapper waste.

The best earplugs ever Nov 19, 2005

I have tried many different types of plugs and I find these are the best. They block out ALL night time noises,ex: snoring, yet I can hear my alarm in the morning. Eva D.

cheap in price, but cheap in quality Jul 01, 2008
By Monkey Boy I bought these because of the price and I got what I paid for. I got a different brand from the drug store, but they were ~$1 a pair. They were much more comfortable and better at reducing noise. For the money they are OK, but since I use them so infrequently, I'd opt for the more expensive ones next time.

Scratchy, Rough and Uncomfortable Nov 06, 2009
By Margaret Rutherford Don't buy these. Almost any earplug you get in a drugstore will be more comfortable and effective than these. The surface is rough and scratchy, they don't compress easily and they don't fit the eardrum. The only good thing is that they are cheap. That junk about the hexagonal design being conducive to compressing easily? That's bull -- that's just they way they are stamped/cut on the giant flat sheet.
Silicone earplugs (Flents and Hearos are both excellent) are the way to go.
