Not metric Sep 12, 2009
By Andrew These wrenches are very good; however, it's important to note that---unlike a traditional adjustable wrench---the jaws are NOT infinitely adjustable within their 1-1/4" range of motion. Instead their range is divided into pre-defined 1/16" notches. This system accounts for the wrench's excellent holding properties on US/English objects. But, it means that the wrench will NOT hold tightly on metric sized objects.

Best Design Yet Jan 30, 2008
By Jopah Irwin has come up with what is truly the best designed adjustable wrench ever. First off fit and finish are superb, justifying its higher price. What really sets it apart is the locking mechanism they have come up with. Little teeth lock the settings in place and with the release of the spring switch you can easily change to another width and it stays put. Also has a quick size adjustment where you fully open the jaws, then squeeze fit to the nut, and presto its set and stays there. No more fumbling with those silly thumb screws that constantly drift off size. Another plus is the rubberized handle that is both comfortable as well as functional with its firm grip. This will definitely be the one you grab to use.

Nice Crecent Jan 24, 2010

This is a very handy crescent, I work in Colorado on a oil-rig and constantly use a crescent throughout the day. This is the best i have come across yet, its tough and can be adjusted much quicker than the traditional crescent wrench. I highly recommend this to anybody looking for a great 10inch crescent.
