5AWESOME GUN  Mar 28, 2009 By C. Wong
I been through mac air guns, snap on air guns, and they all gave up on me within 2 years and not to mention their hefty price tag, My last IR thunder gun lasted me 5 years, and it's still working, seals are giving up and it was heavy and noisy, so i decided to buy this gun, boy did i make a good decision, gun is STRONG and quiet, none of my old guns could take crank pulley bolts off, this gun did it QUIETLY, i'm so amazed with how strong and quiet this gun is, you definetely won't regret getting this gun.. I love it... If your a person that uses an air gun everyday this is the one!

5this things a beast, a quiet beast!!!  Aug 20, 2009 By A. Fonseca
i bought this gun about a month and a half ago, i am an entry level tech and i use it everyday. everything from taking of wheels, to replacing struts and it has plenty of power, it doesn't even flinch. its so quiet too, another tech just got a regular 2135timax and you can hear him from across the street, go with the quiet one its a night and day difference with no sacrifice in power. i highly recommend this gun to anyone thats looking for a new quiet impact, plus all the master techs in my shop recommended IR guns so you can't go wrong with it.

5powerful but quite  Nov 25, 2008 By R. Hamilton
I use this air gun every day at work. I have been using air guns for 25 years. This is the best of the bunch. I love how quite it is.

5Handy and powerful without being deafening  Dec 06, 2010 By Thom17043
Partially due to aging and partially due to automakers packing more components into tighter spaces, I finally broke down and bought an air impact wrench. Seems like as the years go by I pay more in the days afterwards from straining on stubborn fasteners - not to mention the bruised and bloodied knuckles when a fastener finally does let loose and your hand becomes pinned between the wrench and some other immovable (and usually sharp edged) object.

Reading through online forums and reviews, the IR Ti-Max impacts were mentioned again and again. When I bought it not too much had been said about the QTi, but I decided to give it a try. The only downside that I've found to it is that it doesn't have that BRAPPP noise to it that every NASCAR watcher associates with using air tools in the shop. It has good power to it and has never failed to quickly and effortlessly break loose any fasteners I put it to. The tool has good balance and I've never found it awkward to use - even in positions where I'm only using one hand at arm's length to reach some out of place fastener. Adding a swivel connection to the air line does help with using the tool in close quarters - that way the air hose can come back along your wrist and arm rather than exiting the tool straight down and running into things.

Recently, I was putting in some lag bolts in my woodshop to fasten some counters and cabinets. After putting in the third lag bolt - pre-drilling a hole and then using a hand wrench to torque the lag bolt into place - the light dawned and I ran downstairs to my "automotive" tools to return with the impact wrench. I had the lag bolts finished up in no time at all!
