5Top of the line 3/8 air ratchet  Aug 11, 2010 By S. Carbaugh "CS student /AutoTech"
Purchased for Husband, who is a professional mechanic. This was a step up from his previous IR model, which lasted 5 years. He is still very impressed after several months. Although this tool has a button, the speed can still be regulated with a good hand. Power, this 3/8 air ratchet has hit. On 3/8",8mm, or 10mm bolts, don't push the button in completely or this tool's torque will break the best grade bolt. He used to use his 3/8 air ratchet to tighten diesel exhaust clamps, but not anymore. After breaking a few clamps, he went back to the 1/4" air ratchet.

5Only rt angle air ratchet to own  Oct 11, 2010 By Texas rancher
I have used air ratchets for 40 years and have busted my knuckles enough and caught my hand with the lever trigger models. This is the only push button model I have used and have bought 3- 2 for my mechanic friends who said they would never use a air ratchet again. They love this one and use it ever day. To adjust the torque, just lightly touch the button or push tight and hold on to tighten or remove a bolt.

5Great Ratchet!!!  Jun 22, 2009 By Ryan Z. "Geek Dad"
Great ratchet, made easy work of the 100 or so 3 inch lag bolts on my sons play set. It did start getting a little slow towards the end of the bolt but that was due to my tank being smallish and a tad underpowered and them tighening and needing more torque the further they went in. After using the air wrench, I could only hand tighen another 1/8 of a turn myself, so it was getting them in there pretty good.

I have a DeWalt 2.5 gallon compressor that will do 3.8 cfm at 90 psi, this wants 4.0 cfm at 90 psi(from what I remember). The product itself was solid, nice and heavy, didnt feel too heavy in my hands, worked great, the adjustable air vent was nice, I could turn it to face whatever way I wanted and didnt have to worry about how I was holding the ratchet.

I dont have any other immediate uses for it, but it was money well spent in time saved putting together the play set.

5great ratchet  Jan 21, 2012 By joshsmith
as a diesel mechanic i wanted an air ratchet that had some guts. i formerly used a Snxx-xx air ratchet that was their best model. This air ratchet feels like an upgrade. I love the push button instead of the butterfly trigger and the moveable exhaust is very well constructed. This air ratchet is strong but wont rip your hand off.
