This is a generous sized box for reasonable money. The top tray is somewhat flimsy, and the whole box is strategically reinforced enough to be OK. But don't consider this anything close to heavy duty. Homeowner use is what it's best suited for. Use it professionally, and you'll probably have a short lifespan.

This seems to be a pretty sturdy toolbox. It's much roomier than I anticipated it would be. Don't know how it will hold up with lots of tools in it as there are some plastic parts on it, but will work fine for my needs.

I bought this tool box for my dad and it is really nice. It is a very sturdy tool box with a plastic insert inside. He is a handy man and was happy with my choice. It is also very large and has holes for a lock if you need some extra safety on it.

I purchased this tool box to store my hobby tools. I am a scale modeler and have had to give up my workroom for my newborn. The chemicals involved are too toxic to risk exposing my boy. That said, I needed a box to store all of my hobby tools, that I could lock up and store. This box fit all of my tools and accomodates all four of my airbrushes with their stand. The locks are strong and sufficient for this type of equipment. It even fit my small air compressor.

This tool box is still going strong. It's been 2 years since I've owned it and still looks brand new. It holds a lot (hammer, drill, screwdrivers, etc.)
The latches are still solid and I love it how it's 2 layers. The tray on the top has a handle that's easily removable. Everything is still going well with this tool box. Heavy, solid, this steel tool box will last for years.
It's a VERY solid tool box. If you know a man in your life that loves tools this is a GREAT tool box for him.

I purchased this tool box to prevent my baby from getting access to the screwdrivers, drills, etc in the house. I don't own a garage and so the only place to store the toolbox is inside the house. I know she'll find the box sooner or later so I got this tool box to replace the flimsy plastic one.
It's quite heavy and the latches are well made. I still store this in the cupboard but with all the extra weight of the tools, she won't be able to yank it out for a long time. I got the 23" tool box because it fits in the cupboard perfectly.
