Very good and sturdy knife! Sep 27, 2009
By Ryan Ordille I love this knife! I bought one for light use around the house and at work, and I would have to say this is the best money I have spent in a long time. The knife came very sharp and the blade does not dull out as quickly as many other knives tend to do, especially those around this price range. The handle is surprisingly sturdy, the screws came incredibly tight, the clip will never worry you, and the handle fits perfectly in your handle. I have never once feared the blade would come loose even during heavy use, and I never have to worry about the blade coming out in my pocket.
The only thing I don't like about this knife is that, especially with gloves on, the blade is very tough to get out with only one hand. I know most fingernail-release blades like this are the same way, but if the opening was slightly bigger, then the problem would be solved.

Bought it, lost it, bought another Mar 27, 2011
By C. Wilson This knife is very good for an everyday pocket knife. I didn't want a large knife, I need something that fits in a standard pants pocket along with keys and doesn't get in the way.
The blade is sharp, the serrations are very effective. Sharpening a serrated edge is difficult but not impossible, but for this price I'd just get another one when they get dull.
Never had any issues with the lock blade opening, staying open or closing. Never had any issues with the knife falling apart like another reviewer. It can be taken apart for cleaning and to remove the clip.
I had gone from a small multi-tool type knife to this one and was glad to make the change. When I lost it I looked for a replacement locally and could not find it. If you want a small sturdy, sharp, 50/50 straight-edge serrated knife I'd get this one.

Perfect everyday pocketknife Apr 15, 2010
By Jack Lloyd I've been carrying one of these as my everyday pocketknife for a couple of years now, and if I ever lost it I know I would immediately replace it with another. Blade is sharp, and I find the serrated edge very useful for a wide variety of typical day to day tasks. The lock is simple and in my experience reliable and strong. And the belt clip isn't some dinky plastic thing that's going to break off after a few months of wear.
This is clearly a knife for righties - the clip will be primarily useful when it's carried on your right side, and due to the clips placement I find it quite difficult to open one handed with my left hand (even though I'm actually left handed). Indeed, one handed opening! In contrast to several other reviews on this item, I find my knife easy to open one handed and do so habitually. I can't remember the last time I had to use both hands to open it. However, it took some practice to get the motion down, and I could see how it might be difficult if your hands were particularly large (or covered in oil or something else slick), so perhaps counting on this ability isn't wise.

Tough Linerlock Feb 11, 2010

I bought this knife to participate in the Gerber Bonus Blade promotion.
This knife has a very smooth open/close hinge. It is very very sharp. The liner lock is extremely tough to move to fold the knife!
Pros: Sharp, smooth, light weight.
Cons: Tough liner lock.

Perfect! Aug 30, 2011
By Gary M. Pages It didn't come with that, shave-the-hair-off your arm kind of edge I've grown accustomed to over the years from Gerber Knives, but the design is AWESOME, and the size absolutely perfect! Small enough to go un-noticed, yet large enough to actually function as a knife, with the serrated edge adding a desired versatility. So, if you need a small, functional blade, this is it!
