5Great little pocketknife  Jun 24, 2010 By B. Crommett "Bri"
I've been a fan of Gerber for several years and have had one of their multi-tools for quite awhile and use it frequently. The downside to something like that, is it doesn't fit in a pocket well and, for my job, it doesn't do to wear it on my belt. That's where this knife comes in. Small and light, it fits well in your pocket. The tab on the blade makes it an easy open knife that locks into place. Great for just about anything you'd use a pocketknife for. From opening boxes to sharpening a pencil to stripping some bark off a downed branch for kindling. This is a great knife for everyday use.

4Good quality, holds nice edge.  Mar 05, 2010 By Nicole Baltadonis "Voracious reader"
Fits perfectly in all of my jeans without bulk. While not the easiest to flick open one-handed, since the knife is brand new, I believe it will become easier in time. It is a solid build and maintains a nice edge with little maintenance. The skeleton frame is very easy to clean. Great product for an everyday pocket knife and is such a reasonable price you simply can't NOT buy it.

5My favorite pocket knife  Nov 11, 2010 By Max M. Burn "citizenmax"
Solid construction. Knives are personal items. This model clips nicely into my back pocket. The perfect weight and size for my everyday use. Open design allows me to easily clean it. Comes razor-sharp out of the package. I like it so much I own three.

5Great Cheap Little EDC Knife.  Dec 28, 2011 By Nylox
It is the perfect size to carry and weighs nearly nothing. The blade is just the perfect length to do just about anything you need, unless of course you are Crocodile Dundee, or looking strictly for a hunting knife. The blade is high carbon steel and holds an edge for a long time. With it's un-serrated edge it can be sharpened the entire length. I really don't care for serrated blades unless it's on a steak knife. It came out of the package sharp enough to shave arm hair. While closed, the knife is just perfect for pocket carry without being bulky, heavy, or making your pockets bulge. I carry a lot of stuff with me at all times and I don't need any extra weight or bulk in my pockets. The only drawback is that it is so lightweight that you might not notice when you have forgotten to put it back in your pocket. When I say lightweight I don't mean flimsy. This thing is solid! Once broken in, it's a snap to open and close one (right) handed and locks into place securely. The finish isn't shiny or "chrome", so it keeps up it's appearance even if carried with other junk in your pocket. After years of carrying this knife, it still looks great and I still have people ask me to see it. I don't leave home or even put my pants on in the morning without this knife. You could buy a more expensive knife. I don't know what more you could get from spending more money since this knife does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've had some pretty expensive knives in my time and this cheap one performs well. If you're looking for a cheap knife that won't upset you if lost or broken, this may be a good option.

2Looks cool...  Oct 14, 2010 By brad-man
Nice looking knife, well machined parts. Now the bad. Knife is WAY too stiff to even think about one-handing it. It's too stiff period. Apparently, Gerber used the permanent type of Locktite on the axis screw, because it stripped before loosening. Also, the frame lock barely overlaps the blade in the open position, making my digits very nervous. It's all academic though, since this blade will occupy my junk drawer until needed for a nasty job. I'm glad the other reviewers had better luck...
