5OKAY SO MAYBE IT WON'T PLOW YOUR LOWER 40; IT IS THE BEST FOR WHAT IT DOES  May 24, 2009 By C. Scanlon "least helpful reviewer"
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2HUIS16MGCVSR Lots of folks gripe about these great Fiskar composite garden hand tools.

Such people obviously do not garden.

This is the best at what it does: hand cultivation and weeding of your prepared garden beds.

It is not dynamite. It is not a crow bar. It will not extract boulders from your granite stone New England field.

It weeds and cultivates and aerates with minimum of damage your prepared and composted vegetable and flower garden.

The best. Better than metal. Less damage to all involved, including the plants.

Sure, maybe you can find one cheaper at your city's big box shop.

It won't be the fine Fiskar brand name. And you'll waste your own fuel instead of the USPS's gas.

Best tool. All right price. Best at what it does.

Okay. I admit it. It won't plow your lower 40.
But it is not designed to.
Fiskar Garden cultivator, dude. Not John Deere's combine.

Get one.
Not a gardener?
Also a great backscratcher for those hard to reach spots.

5Wow!  Apr 02, 2012 By R. Leacock
Wow! Of all the cultivators I have owned in my years, this one is tops. I just ordered a second one for my summer get-away. It's beautifully designed to do just what is supposed to do, rake up the new little weeds that pop up. It will not rust or rot, and it weights nothing. Just run it under the sink once in a while. Thank you Fiskars.

5Great tool  Jul 30, 2011 By J. Hanson
It feels light in my hand and this composite material is so strong, I've never had a problem with any of these tools. Since it is so light it seems like there is less stress on my forearm/wrist as opposed to the heavier metal one I was using before.

4extremely lightweight and surprisingly strong...  Jul 21, 2011 By trebe
Fiskars 7977 Composite Cultivator is certainly not as strong as a similar cultivator made of metal, but it's stronger than you might expect, and is a tool that is well-suited for light duty gardening. Made out of a very stiff composite plastic called `FiberComp', tool is very lightweight. The handle is rock solid, and while much thinner, the tines are surprisingly hard as well. While this tool is most useful in soil that contains some moisture and is somewhat soft, it is capable of more rugged performance. The handle has a spot on the top for your thumb, and a slot at the end for hanging.

This tool will not corrode, and if used properly and not abused, it should last for some time. The price at Amazon is a little steep, so may want to check your local hardware store for a better deal.

4Not bad  May 03, 2011 By Chris C.
These are ok for well kept beds. Avoid Rocks, etc...

They can be had for far less at box big box home centers....
