The self-stick tape is fiberglass reinforced for maximum durability and is both water and mildew resistant. Application is easy, without the need for special tools or ironing. The extra wide, linerless tape simplifies the carpet seaming process and ensures a tight, permanent seam. It is best used with foam/rubber, woven polypropylene and jute-backed carpets. Works great Nov 25, 2011
By bajasir Tape works great. I've never used carpet tape before, but this tape makes it easy, and even has a line down the middle so you can keep it centered.
Did not work for me Feb 03, 2012
By A. Taylor Perhaps the only true purpose of this tape is to hold together pieces of wall-to wall-carpeting. I wanted to secure two mats together, side by side. The glue was not tough enough to do that and the mats walked in opposite directions despite the tape (and yes, I did try reversing one). I would have been surprised but thrilled if it had worked. It was worth a shot.
