Works perfectly Mar 08, 2009
By Trevor Burnham I used this in conjunction with a Kleer-Drain, which uses compressed air to destroy clogs: I needed to seal up my sink's overflow outlet air-tight. I wasn't sure that any ordinary tape would be up to the task. This stuff was. It stayed on even when I fired the air cartridge, and yet it was easy to peel off. I highly recommend it.

Great tape, expensive way to get it Mar 11, 2011
By AmazonLover This is great name brand Duck Tape, but this is not the cheapest way to get it. You will save a lot at your local Wal-Mart.

Good match for Reflectix Radiant Barrier Feb 23, 2010
By Nylo I've been using this tape for my Reflectix (heat reflecting bubble wrap) insulation projects.
It cuts cleanly and the adhesive is strong. It's appearance is very close to the Reflectix itself, and makes good hinges for swinging panel pieces and covers.
It also makes an excellent edge treatment for panels made from the styrofoam/mylar radiant heat barrier material.

Your husbands chair Feb 24, 2011
By Mrs Sass Buckets Does your husband have a gross fake-leather chair that is falling apart so badly it's shedding bits of fake leather all over your house? Have you tried to leave the chair for bulky pick up only to have your husband drag it back in again? This is the answer to your prayers! Cover that &^%$#@! in this black Duct Tape and the beast will shed no more!
***NOTE*** The chair will still be ugly, your husband will still keep it and this will undoubtedly prolong your time with said chair-beast.

The adhesive of this black tape is not as strong as the gray, and neither is as strong as normal duct tape should be. Feb 06, 2011
By Cristina I bought both the black and regular gray colors of this duct tape. Neither one has the adhesive strength I expect from expensive duct tape. I expect the adhesive of duct tape to stick to my hands and be extra strong. It doesn't with this tape at all. The gray tape has a little bit stronger adhesive than the black tape. The descriptions may hint at this as it says one has more fabric than the other. It's not that this tape won't stick, it's that it doesn't stick sufficiently to be "duct" tape. I won't be buying this "duck" tape brand of "duct" tape again.
