a must for anybody who's around noise Jul 29, 2010 Protection level is 29 out of 30, so don't buy a cheaper pair with lower protection. Looks good and feels good, so will wear anytime I'm in range of disruptive noise. Factory package is great, protective plastic is easy-open, but amazon shipped to me in an oversized box with unneeded packing. Wasteful.

Great May 19, 2009 I wear these at the range, running power tools, you name it. They work great and are very comfortable.

Comfortable and good noise reduction Dec 13, 2008 We bought 3 of these for shooting rifle and shotgun. We tried these on at a sporting goods store and liked how they felt and seemed to cut down on the noise. We didn't buy them at that time, but came home and found them on Amazon much cheaper.
As I said, we bought them for shooting and like them very much. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods and really do the job in reducing the sound to a safe level.
I would buy these again.

Excellent hearing protection Apr 23, 2008 I purchased these Dewalt earmuffs a couple months ago and have been using them both for work (carpentry) and in the recording studio (during loud playbacks when I'm not doing critical listening, but have to be available). They're very comfortable, even for extended periods of time. And they block out more sound than any earmuff I've used in the past. I recommend them highly.

Over-rated and Over-priced Apr 05, 2008 I purchased these DeWalt DPG62C Interceptor Ear Muffs with an NRR29 rating for $64.03 plus tax and shipping. I was outraged to find them very poorly constructed at the point where the headband connects to ear muffs and in the headband covering. I also discovered these were severely overpriced by over $50.00! I then found many other brands (like ECHO for example) with NRR29 or better ratings and and far superior quality ear muffs for as little as $14.00, and without shipping or tax charges to boot. I promptly returned these highly over-rated and outrageously expensive DeWalt's. Wow, what's in a name!
