Not good for sensitive eyes Sep 01, 2010
By Kevin B. I would love to give these glasses a good rating as they are great for what they do in terms of safety and sun protection, but they have a major flaw. The way they are shaped makes for a hard time on your eyes if your have any kind of sensitivity with your vision. What I mean by this is that the shading and shape of the lenses make your eyes see too different things if you aren't looking straight ahead.
There is a vignetting "fish eye" distortion when looking to the sides that regular safety glasses don't have, and the change in the shading from left to right instead of top to bottom means one eye may be looking through a lighter part of one side that is distorted slightly while the other is looking through a darker part that is slightly distorted the opposite way. Led to immediate headaches when trying to where these glasses for more than a few minutes at a time. Some people may never notice this as a few I asked to try them out seemed to have no problem, but a few others noticed the same thing. Take your chances if you buy these, they are cheap enough to give it a shot. If you don't see the issue, then they are great, if you do they are not useable.

Cheap and effective! Aug 07, 2009
By C. Cooper I purchased these for working in the yard (mowing, weed whacking, etc.) since they wrap around more than my normal sunglasses. So far they've done a great job keeping stuff out of my eyes. I'll probably purchase another pair with clear glass for construction purposes. I wish they were polarized but for the price that's asking too much.

Dewalt Pro Silver Safety Glasses Nov 13, 2011
By Roger These safety glasses are perfect for daytime extreme sunny days. They reflect the sun and also are not dark to the point where you cant see fine lines or details, great product

By Brokerrealtor These glasses do very good job of protecting my eyes when I am out mowing my lawn. I live in an area that is pretty dry and get a lot of stuff flying up at me as I cut the grass and use these now which stop it from hitting the eyes.
