@ $20 a very good value, @ $9.45 an absolute steal! Aug 16, 2008
By Stephen Cunningham I bought 6 of these. They charge quick and have a lot of power. Rated at 1.7 AH they have around 50% more power than many consumer grade cordless tool batteries. The "fuel gage" is a nice feature.
Good battery, had mine for several years and they're ok Oct 14, 2010

I've got about a dozen of these batteries and have had them for several years. Usually when I'm not using them or transporting them I keep them in plastic bags and keep them in the refrigerator. They say that keeps the contents of the batter from crystalizing. So far so good. Don't know if Amazon will leave this in but they (for some reason) don't seem to carry the battery anymore. Harbor Friegt has the batteries for $10 but they don't have the gauge. I've been happy with these tools, you sometimes have to repair them cause they weren't put together to well and sometimes fall apart. Use Locktite thread seal when you put loose screws back in or tighten them up.
Unforgivable Aug 10, 2009
By M. C. Fueston A year after I bought the entire Denali 18v set, the BATTERIES ARE UNAVAILABLE. And the helpful little note from Amazon reads: "not sure if or when this item will be available." Amazon, this is absolutely unforgivable. At the very least, a responsible company would tell us if some other battery will fit the tool. And yet, Amazon still sells the 18v tools as "bare-tool," with no warning that batteries aren't available! And, yeah, after a year, the batteries (I have 2) are pretty much shot.
Tool Review Sep 23, 2008
By Gerard Spanier Good design and features. Well thought out. Not able to tell what kind of batteries in \unit.
Its A Battery Sep 23, 2008
By Kevin J. Boies This is a battery Pack, and it works, what more can be said? It does have this real cool way of checking the power left with a charge, and that is helpful. Other than that it is a battery.
