Quality product Apr 17, 2008

The battery came with the driver I purchased 3 months ago. It last a long time before needing a recharge. Overall, it's a good product.
Update: As of September 2, 2010. The battery is still working and holding charge amazingly well.
Had mine for years and they all still work Oct 14, 2010

Have had mine for several years. Have around 10 and they're still working. When I first got them I read what someone wrote in one of the reviews. He said that you should store them in the refrigerator when not in use because this keeps the battery contents from crystalizing. It seems to work. I'll also throw a little story in which Amazon will probably censor. When I purchased mine the price was $10 each or 2 for $30. I'm not much of a mathematician but that doesn't sound right to me. You've got to watch Amazon because they play a lot of games with there pricing. They no longer cary this battery. Harbor Friegnt has the same battery for $10 but they don't have the battery gauge on them.
Great batteries Apr 06, 2009
By Laura L. Larsen I bought these with a kit of three tools for a really good price. I wasn't expecting very much, but ended up pleasantly surprised.
They do what they're supposed to do. They slide onto the tools easily and are easy to remove again; the only qualm is that they're kind of heavy but most 18v packs are.
One of the best features, and one that not even the Dewalt tools I've used have, is the on-battery charge tester. You press the little button on the front of the battery, and a gauge lights up to show you how much power remains. That in and of itself is an *incredible* feature.
Also, these batteries maintain a charge for a very long time; it took me weeks of use (in several projects in my new home) to finally run a battery down. And then, since I hadn't needed it before, I had to find and unpack the charger!
They also charge very rapidly. All in all, I highly recommend these and their tool line.
good design.. Aug 03, 2008
By emmielusion These batteries charge fast and hold the charge pretty long. They also have a gauge button to check the battery power level.

no bunny here Feb 22, 2008
By Dr. John J. Mason III The battery, charger, and tool it fit (stapler) would have to improve to be worthless. Lo-grade plastic construction is the highest quality part of this junk
