Out of stock | | | | | | This Denali 18-inch Speed Grip Bar Clamp/Spreader does double duty, first as a super strong clamp, then, with just a few tool-free, easy adjustments, it becomes a spreader, so its uses are almost endless. The smaller jaw rides along the bar and can be positioned anywhere along its length, giving it great versatility both as a spreader and a clamp. Sturdy construction means dependability and a long life, as well as strength wherever you need it. The reinforced nylon jaws and steel bar provide the ultimate in durability, and thick, removable jaw pads protect your project from marring and damage. Changing between clamping and spreading is fast and easy. | | | | | |

2-pack; 1 works, the other doesn't. Aug 14, 2007
By Dennis Crepeau It's the second 2-pack of these Denali clamps I've bought. The first pack had a one-ok, one not-so-ok pair, but I was able to fix the bad one. The bad one in this pair I can't seem to fix, and it's a 'fatal' flaw: doesn't apply any pressure; doesn't hold when clamped. I may order another pair and return the worse pair of both sets, hoping that I get at least one more good one in the mix. Anyhow, the ones that work seem ok, light-to-medium duty. Also, the clamps come with oversize warning stickers, and removing them leaves glue and paper stuck to the tools, which looks like crap. Maybe that wouldn't bother anyone else, but it just plain irritates me. Lastly, there are roll pins on each end of the bar; you have to hammer one out to reverse the jaws for spreader applications.. which is also an irritation; seems like they could have designed a "tool-less" changeover. oh, and you kind of have to figure that out for yourself, because there are no instructions of any kind with these tools. Maybe a three-star-rating is too generous?

Worst Clamps Ever Feb 16, 2008
By Y. Moussa These clamps were designed to work for a few times. I bought 6 of them 5 months ago but did not put them to use till recently. I bought 6. They all fail to grip. They are peices of jusnk. There is not warrantly information on these. Stay away from them. They are insult to the name Denali.

Don't buy this clamp Oct 02, 2008
By G. Beal I purchased a 36 inch and an 18 inch Denali clamp (2 each) the 36 inch clamp was great, five stars but this 18 inch is worthless, I've had it in use for about a month now and it's aleady started to slip when I clamp it down, it's something I'll probally eventually throw away, please buy the 36 inch but stear clear of the 18 inch.

Can't beat em for the price Sep 26, 2007
By N. Marten I think I paid $16 for these on sale. For $8 bucks a piece these are a great addition to my clamps in the shop. So far both have performed as expected. These are not heavy duty but are a great medium duty clamp.

I just got mine and they're everything I hoped they'd be. Plenty of gripping strength and easy to use. I put them on the rack right next to my Craftsman 12"s and plan to use them interchangeably. 24" set will be included in my next order.
