Manufacturing has gone downhill since other reviews or my standards are too high. The finish on these wrenches is perfect and they look great, the tool roll also was of good quality, however the manufacturing of the actual working part of the wrench is not very good. The instant I pulled the first wrench out of the pouch I could see that the box end was made slightly off center and with inconsistent contact faces. I removed several others and found the same situation. Not wanting to be too hard on them, I took them out and compared them with some basic Craftsman brand wrenches which I consider to be normal homeowner grade tools. I found the fit of the wrench on the open end and the box end to be generally looser than the Craftsman brand when compared side by side on large allen wrenches (chosen because sizing should be more accurate than a mass produced bolt head). These wrenches are functional for light duty use but I ultimately returned them and purchased a higher quality set, on extremely tight or worn bolts I don't think that these will be up to the task. This does not seem to be a $70 wrench set that was marked down to $29 but more of a $19 wrench set marked up. Made in China (not that there's anything wrong with that).

These are fine tools that anyone can use around the house or for working on automobiles. I bought both the SAE set and the Metric set for my son-in-law and he loves them. These are NOT cheap-made tools. The pouch is really handy.

This is a good set for a good price. The heavy cloth holder keeps them organized by size. There is not a lot to say about a wrench. The fit is cood, it is thin enough to reach small places. The size is written large enough so you don't have to squint. Denali 15-Piece Combination Wrench Set, Metric

Great Tools, Poorly-Designed Pouch Mar 09, 2008 By George
I'm very happy with the quality of the tools themselves. However, as much as I dislike the idea of knocking an item for an accessory rather than the item(s) themselves, the poor quality pouch keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

The middle three wrench slots of my pouch were not sewn at the bottom, allowing the wrenches to slide out the bottom. So I exchanged it for another set, and the replacement was actually worse; four of the the slots weren't sewn. For such nice tools it's a shame they chose to skimp with such a poor quality pouch for it.

They feel like good tools and have a descent wrap. BUT! As other reviewers have said I have duplicates. In my case the 16mm wrench was instead a second 15mm wrench. Luckily Amazon has an amazing return policy. I also got a set of SAE wrenches with a horrid chrome job on the 1-1/8" wrench but that's for another review.

Does Denali Tools even have any QA?!?!
