Out of stock | | | | | | Take the guesswork out of measuring, marking and reading angles—no tricky geometry or complicated calculations required—with the Denali 14-Inch Digital Angle Protractor. Simply swing open the tool’s pivoting leg and immediately read the angle on the digital display window. The tool is accurate within 1 degree, and will read angles ranging from zero to 185 degrees. The anodized-aluminum protractor is also fitted with two bubble vials for use as a conventional level. The Denali 14" Digital Angle Protractor is equipped with a laser that is cleverly stored inside the protractor's body. Laser is easily mounted to the swing arm via magnets when needed. It’s powered a single 9-volt battery (included) that typically lasts about 100 hours of normal use. The tool comes with a protective carrying and storage case. The protractor provides a quick and precise way to read existing angles, such as roof slopes, wall corners, handrails, and mitered trim work. You can also use it to mark any desired angle up to 185 degrees. It’s an indispensable tool when installing crown molding; use it to determine the angle of outside corners, which are rarely 90 degrees. This versatile tool will also do many of the jobs typically reserved for a sliding T-bevel square. And if all that weren’t enough, the Denali Digital Angle Protractor costs about three times less than any comparable tool on the market. -- Joseph Truini The Denali Story Named after the tallest mountain range in North America, Denali tools stand above the rest in providing an exceptional blend of quality craftsmanship, professional-grade features, and customer value. Denali 14" digital protractor Dec 29, 2007
By L. Boyer I gave this tool to my husband as a gift. This is his review. 'It appeared to be an excellent way to measure and transfer angles. It did not take long to see that the spirit level in it was not accurate. It was more than a full bubble off when compared to my other levels. I was sent a replacement and found the spirit level in it to be off by more than 1/2 bubble. The electronic part of this tool seems to give repeatable results, but I question the overall quality and durability of this tool when the manufacturer has not mastered the ability to make an accurate bubble type level. This tool will probably get returned soon. Maybe the third tool will be better.'

Nice product Dec 28, 2007
By Dogfather One minor improvement would be if you could lock the blade at a particular angle otherwise this angle measuring device works great and comes with a nice soft side carrying case. The laser stores nicely in the handle and locks in place on the blade or in the handle with magnets. You have to remove a small plastic disk from the back of the laser battery compartment (placed there so the batteries would not run down) to get the laser to fire up initially. This is not covered anywhere in the sparse documentation but then you don't really need any documentation on operating this thing. It's two button interface is straight forward. If you work with lots of odd angles in construction this thing will measure them for you at a reasonable price.

14" Denali protractor Jul 31, 2008
By Byron W. Orr This protractor would work excellent for a carpenter, welder,... however, it is not quite accurate or the repeatability is not good enough for a machinist.

I really like it, but don't have much use for it unless I start building a house of something big like that.
Works Great Mar 03, 2009
By A. Dewitt I have used the protractor a few times and it works well and is seems to be very accurate as well as being simple to use. I have used it for doing trim work to find the true and of a corner for tighter mighter joints and to adjust my table and miter saw. Well worth the money.
