Taiwan product not USA. Seem OK. Aug 18, 2011
By OttoDF I haven't tested these in action yet. I expected them to be a USA made product. The package says made in Taiwan. They look pretty good but not up to the quality of 20 or 30 year old genuine vise-grips, which are the best you can get IMHO. I don't know what the current production genuine vise-grips are like. Maybe they are made in India now. Or maybe not yet. Enjoy the triumph of capitalism.
Compared to mainland Chinese grips from HF or similar they look quite good. Whatever you do don't buy the HF Chinese grip pliers. They are worse than worthless. They will pinch your hand. These look very good in comparison. I will post again about these if Crescent turn out to be poor quality.
