Usually ships in 1 business days | | | | | | A torpedo level typically is a small, boat-shaped level measuring 6 to 9 inches. The Checkpoint Ultra-Mag 4-Vial G2 Torpedo Level is a professional grade level boasting portability, efficiency, and durability all in one package. If you haven't bought a level in a while, you'll be amazed at how much this dynamo can do. For example, the built-in magnets enable you to position the level on metal surfaces or on the nails in wood studs without worrying about slippage. Also, the large V-groove along the top of the level allows you to rest it solidly on pipes up to 10 inches in diameter. Plus, one end is tapered at 45 degree angle, making it easy to hold the level against a diagonal surface. Other features include a 4-vial system with horizontal, vertical, 45 degree, and 30 degree viewing options and a waterproof/shockproof body (the body comes with a lifetime guarantee, by the way). If you're looking for a basic level at a good price, this item has what you need and more. To boot, it ships in multiple colors. | | | |

Best level I've ever owned Jul 31, 2005
By Andy D.
"Electrician"
I've been an electrician for 15 years and I have owned every level there is to own. I have bent thousands of feet of pipe and I have had the same problem with every level I have owned.Bump the pipe and there goes the level.Hopefully your just on a ladder and not a lift 30' feet in the air or your stopping at Sears on the way home from work to replace it.The only issue I have with this level is getting it off the pipe. The 4 magnets are unbelievably strong.I recomend it to every electrician out there.

Level that's not level = Useless! Dec 30, 2006
By J. Pierce The one thing you expect a level to do is read level. Not the one I got. Checked this level against several other levels I own and it is greater than 1 degree off. Another gripe is that the bubbles are to small and allow to much wiggle room between the marks. I noticed the one in the picture has bigger bubbles so maybe I just got one from a bad batch. Sending it back.

One of the best levels I've ever used Jun 19, 2000
By Kupkake This has to be one of the best levels I've used. I'm construction electrician, so my tools tend to take a lot of abuse. It's magnets are very strong you really have to pull, to get it loose, so it won't be falling off when you have your hands full, it's vials are large and easy to read, which you'll appreciate when there isn't alot of light. When I think of the money I've spent on the cheap levels, that have taken a dive from 40' up, I wish I had bought one years ago

Best torpedo level by far!!!!! Apr 24, 2002
By IBEW LU #8 As a seasoned electrician with the I.B.E.W. L.U. #8, I have tried many different levels over the years. This one outdoes, outlasts and outperforms any others I have used. The extra strength magnet virtually eliminates accidental falling due to tapping on conduit etc.. The accuracy and durability are unmatched by craftsman, Klein etc.. Just try it and see for yourself!!!! You'll never use another torpedo level.

The Best Torpedo Level on the Planet Mar 01, 2001
By NoxiousDog It's simple. I'm an electrician. I use this thing daily. It takes whatever abuse I can dish out. The magnets hold rock solid. The V groove is very deep, and makes leveling pipe a snap. The 30 degree vial is indispensible for bending offsets. I've been looking for that feature in a torpedo level forever! It is the last level you'll have to buy.
