These work great Jul 06, 2009
By Danny Creech

I usually us a chain saw to trim trees but I saw these and decided to give them a try because I had some trimming to do with not much space to work in. They work great. I have used them to remove a dead tree in my father-in-laws back yard, trim a bottle brush tree in my front yard and used them to cut roots to remove stumps. The best thing is that they last a long time. Almost all this trimming was done with one blade. Much more control using a sawzall than a chain saw. The biggest branch I have cut so far is about 6" in diameter and it went thru it like butter. As you can tell, I like these blades.

better than the stuff they sell at home improvement stores May 23, 2011
By Jay I brought these as the ones they sell at home depot or lowes are sold as single and charged a premium of 7-8 dollars each. I have one from I believe Vermont something and although they are the same size the Bosch is thicker by 1.5 times. This might sound trivial but I pruned a lot more trees with this and not had metal fatigue or bending compared to the vermont blade which overheated very quickly and stopped cutting as well. I used this as a mini chainsaw and cut down a 30 foot tree with a 9 inch diameter trunk with relative ease.

Don't need no stinking chainsaw ;) Apr 20, 2011
By electric woodsman I bought this to see if I could get away with not buying a gas or electric chainsaw. These blades work pretty good, so far I have cut through logs up to 10" thick without much effort. I think a chainsaw would be a more proper tool for someone that cuts a lot of thick wood though. To get farther from my house or even a couple miles away I use two deep cycle batteries and my heavy duty extension cord. I can cut almost half a 8' truck bed full of wood using just my sawsall, these blades, power inverter, deepcycle batteries. I know it seems like a lot of stuff to carry but at least I am not paying for gas and playing the mixing game. Oh and the blades will bend if you are careless.

Less Expensive, Good Quality Apr 23, 2011
By J. Price These were less expensive than the Sawzall name-brand and they work amazingly well. I chopped down an entire 8 inch diameter pine tree with nothing but my Sawzall and these blades.

Great pruning blades Apr 07, 2011

Blades showed up the day after I ordered them. It easily cut up a 10" dia. oak tree into 1ft logs, work usually reserved for a chainsaw.
