| | Availability:
Usually ships in 1-2 business days | | | Forty-percent lighter and 33-percent more productive than other ultra-compact drill/drivers, the Pocket Driver is small enough to fit into a tool belt pouch and lightweight and powerful enough to accomplish a majority of professional drill/driving tasks all day without fatigue.
For carpenters, remodelers, electricians, woodworkers and more, the Pocket Driver is an invaluable complement to larger and heavier cordless drill/drivers. The 10.8-volt Pocket Driver measures only 6 by 6.5-inches, nearly half the size of stick drivers and other ultra-compact drill/drivers. Under 2 pounds (with battery), the Pocket Driver is also 40% lighter and comfortably fits into a tool belt pouch or back pocket, unlike the competition.
The Pocket Driver can drive 100 3-inch screws per charge and drill holes up to 1/2-inch in diameter, more than enough to keep most professionals productive through the day. The variable speed trigger controls 0-400 rpm and over 80-inch/lbs. of torque. A 10+1 clutch system, similar to those of standard drill/drivers, offers 10 drive and one "Max" drill setting for better control. The tool's Clic-Change bit holder makes 1/4-inch hex shank bits changes quick and easy. And an LED light enhances visibility in dim working conditions, while a soft-grip handle makes the tool more comfortable for all day use.
Litheon 10.8-volt tools, such as the Pocket Driver, were not possible before lithium-ion technology. In addition to larger more powerful 36-volt tools, Bosch recognized the opportunity to extend the inherent benefits of the new battery technology to innovate the lower end of the voltage spectrum with a never before seen ultra-compact, lightweight and powerful design.
The Ultra-Compact Bosch PS20 LITHEON 10.8-volt Pocket Driver comes complete with two batteries, 30-minute charger, soft carrying case and two bits. | | | |

Buy it now! Aug 22, 2008 Well, there are already a lot of reviews of this bad boy, but I thought I'd still throw my 2 cents in. I am a computer technician by trade, a decent amount of my work involves taking a computer apart to find or replace faulty hardware. Now a 10.8v driver is a bit exsessive for taking screws out of a PC. But let me tell you this, with the extender bit I bought when I'm at a clients business working on their PC's thanks to this I have the speed of a Nascar pit crew working on a car. By hand it takes forever to get 8-10 (or even more) screws out of a PC. My old Black & Decker cordless was ok, but it was bulky and couldn't get into small spaces easy.
This Bosch is a DREAM tool, with the extended bit I can get to hard to reach screws with easy, and wit the wand (don't know what else to call it. It makes getting non magnetic screws back to their holes a piece of cake. I have used it for non PC stuff, I put up a towel rack & toilet paper holder. The speed and power were perfect and the adjustable torque means I never over tighten or strip a screw. As far as battery life the manual claims you can drive 100 3" screws, while I've never done that so I can't comment on accuracy. I have worked on hundreds of computers and only had to recharge once. Granted computer screws are nothing next to 3" wood screws. But I did get weeks of every day use out of it. Overkill for PC work maybe, but such a beautiful tool. It also looks very nice, when I pull it out and go to work I usually have 1 or 2 people ask me about it.
This isn't cheap but you get what you pay for, having an extra battery + the charger being so fast this is the tool to get. The only con I would say I have with it, I don't like the fabric case that comes with it, I would have much prefered a metal or at least hard plastic one. Aside from that
Excellent Tool Aug 18, 2008 I love this little pocket driver. It performs as advertised. The power is excellent for the size compared with similar offerings from Bosch's competitors. It won't replace your 14V or 18V drills, but it is great at driving screws and drilling with a quick connect drill bit. I use it for projects around the house all the time and it performs flawlessly.
bosch driver Aug 13, 2008 This product is great, unless you're left handed. The direction switch depresses and goes to reverse because of it's location. It has plesnty of power and is the right size.
IT NEEDS MORE RPM Aug 12, 2008 IT'S A GOOD SCREWDRIVER, BUT 600 RPM INSTEAD OF 400 IS NECCESARY FOR DRILLING.....ALL OTHER IS OK.....GOOD BATTERY LASTING.....POWERFULL...LIGHT.....QUICK CHANGE BITS....IT'S A WONDERFULL TOOL
Favorite tool Aug 09, 2008 I purchased the Bosch PS20 to replace my old Skil driver which was a pain to use. It wouldnt hold a charge for long and did not have enough power, usually I end up having to finish the job with a manual screwdriver. The Bosch solved all my problems. The build quality, feel and performance is perfect. I love the half an hour charge time on the lithium batteries which means its always ready to go. The light carrying case is very convenient as well, theres enough room for me to throw in a manual 10 in 1 screwdriver and drilling/driving bit set. But I can understand the complaints if you are a professional and need something more durable. I just assembled some furniture with the PS20 and it saved me a lot of time. I would recommend getting an extension for the bits though as I was unable to drive a few screws in hard to reach areas. I shouldve avoided the cheapo cordless drivers in the first place and just went straight for the Bosch. Its more expensive but you get what you pay for.
