The Bosch Viper has proven to be reliable & easy to use (very precise less slipping off the work surface). I've used it to cut, size & shape concrete steps made out of pieces of old concrete slabs. When trimming to size the chisel really bites & is easy to control.

To bust-up a small concrete patio I used a larger SDS Max demo hammer. It worked fine to break large pieces that were removed with pry bars. One edge needed to be trimmed & the demo hammer kept slipping & wouldn't break in a clean line.

I decided to finish the job with the SDS Plus hammer drill (using the Bosch chisel), it easily removed the jagged areas. The Bosch chisel has a noticeably shiny surface & the steel is fine grained. This chisel is long lasting & made the job much easier. Check customer supplied photo.

I bought two of them and after I used one for about 100 feet of chiseling on a very old driveway, it is still in good shape. The other one is still unused. I highly recommand it!

Just got a chance to use my new Bosch Viper chisel with my new DeWalt hammer drill. Used it to make holes in concrete block for passing oil tank pipes through. I first drill multiple 3/8" holes around the 2" circles where I want the holes and then chisel out the remaining block. This chisel had great control - took out material just where I needed it!

I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS CHISEL. IT HAS LASTED LONGER THAN ANY OTHER CHISEL I HAVE USED TO OPEN UP CRACKS IN CONCRETE SO THEY CAN BE REPAIRED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CHISEL TO ANYONE WHO HAS A JOB THAT WOULD REQUIRE A CHISEL.

What can I say. It performed as expected. Cut through brick, morter, and cinder block for several hours. I don't know how long it will last, but so far so good.
