Great Nov 22, 2010
By D. Kopp So far so good. They drill. When a bit doesn't proceed, you notice and growl. When they work, like these do, away you go. Don't waste money on cheap bits. Cobalt are worth it long term.
Well priced, quality set of bits. May 29, 2011

I think these are on par with the DeWalt bits I've used in the past. They are slightly better than my Craftsman bits and seem to stay sharp longer. I use these in my cordless Makita drill for going through everything from sheet metal, to 1/2" aluminum stock. Once they are dull, they sharpen up nicely and cut again like new. My only complaint is that these tend to walk around more than similar products I've used in the past. To work around this, I place the point of an old scratch awl where I want the hole drilled and strike it with a hammer to create a smaller indentation for the bit to sit in.
