Excellent at a great price Nov 12, 2011
By Fernando L. Castro I bought these thinking there must be a mistake. But by all accounts they appear to be genuine Cobalt bits for the smoking deal fo less than $20 - from Bosch, no less. See similar real cobalt bit set prices.
Anyway, I have Ti-Ni Milwaukee bits and they are good, but for drilling through steel, nothing shy of carbide (with their extreme brittleness and high cost) will match cobalt. Go slow (as in under 100rpm)and it will go through mild steel like butter. Just used the set for the first time to drill out a stripped brake disc screw. It took less than a minute and the tip still looks razor sharp. A no-brainer even as a just-in-case. I barely used the first set and I am buying a second.
Sure beats a trip to Home Depot! Mar 20, 2012
By Gary Andersen Great value, everything I was looking for. And I didn't have to get in the car or fight the parking lot!
