no metric set has all the sizes with ball ends like this does. not to mention they're long, strong, and come in a good holder. took forever to find this.

I purchased this wrench set in the "LONG" version because it's rare that I need to work on small Metric socket head fasteners in tight places. If necessary I can always cut one down in a pinch. I've used this set quite a few times and the BriteGuard Finish has not caused any fitment issues with the socket. It's too soon to say, but I am hoping that the BriteGuard finish will prevent or greatly reduce the amount of rust that other wrench sets seem to build up over time. The Amazon price was very good and much cheaper than any of my local sources. And with free shipping, it was a no-brainer. Great product, good price.

I got these after mistakenly buying the smaller set of 9, which doesn't include a 7mm wrench. This set has every hex wrench you're likely to need, including half-millimeter size increments. They seem very well made, and the finish holds up nicely. The only thing I would improve is the holder which, at least in my case, doesn't keep the largest wrench from sliding out if you invert it.

I am a professional technician who removes and fastens allen key bolts dozens of times a day. I've owned this set for just over three months now and it's such a great set that I've thrown away all of my other L wrenches (except for some extremely exotic sizes from a bagged Craftsman set), because I simply don't need them.

The fit on these is great, the set is very complete, giving me a good fit even in fasteners which are technically SAE (I also own the SAE version of this set, which I don't even carry with me). The ball ends make it easy to remove and tighten fasteners at angles (albeit with less torque).

They're very solid, with a solid finish to them as well. I've yet to round any corners on them, or on any fasteners, and the long handle allows for quite a bit of torque to be applied gradually.

Honestly, the only downside I can think of is that because of the long handles, these aren't going to fit in very tight spaces, but there are other tools for those situations. For 95% of what you're likely to encounter, this is the best and probably the only allen key set you need.
