Saved me a fortune Oct 04, 2009
By Robert Alan Koeneke
"Kyle Brandile"
Air unit in the attic starts leaking water. They say it can't be repaired and want $8,500 to replace everything. I say - "Want to bet?". In order to fix the problem I had to lower the drip pan inside the unit, so the side panel could not be firmly screwed shut along the bottom. I simply used this metallic tape to seal the unit and its good to go for at least a few more years. I sealed every air leak I could find while I was at it. Electric bill dropped. Wow.
This tape is good to have handy. Just don't let it stick to itself or you will be needing to cut a new piece. It sticks to EVERYTHING really well - especially me! This stuff now sits in my toolbox right next to my Gorilla Duct Tape (which sticks to everything really well also...starting to see a pattern here)

High Quality Product - Worth the Money Nov 10, 2010

This is an excellent product. The extra half inch is a HUGE difference when using this tape to seal rigid ducts and wrap around flexible piping.
The tape rolls of easily with just the right amound of stickiness in the paper backing. Easy to tear and easy to crush/smooth around irregular surfaces.
Pay for the quality of the product! 5 Stars.

Great HVAC tape Sep 05, 2010
By C. Wall Great tape, replaced some deteriorating duct tape previous owner/technician used. This has a very aggressive adhesive and even stuck of some very dusty surfaces. Patched up some duct work holes very well, and worked great on mix boxes as well.

contains red text on face - not clean aluminum finish Feb 10, 2011
By Brian Wiese The red text you see on the face of the tape is real - it's not just on the cover/wrapper of the tape. I was looking for a big wide roll of aluminum foil tape to use for light reflection in photography projects but this just won't do. Only use this tape where you don't mind anyone looking at your work because it will look ugly with all the red text around the tape.
